5it's morning time here in California. There is no sunshine, just gloominess, which is weird for us Californians. I wanted to share with you a photo project that I found on Amy Tangerines blog. When I saw it I felt inspired and decided to give it a whirl. I often don't take pictures of the simple things and this challenge really pushed me to do it. And like I said before, I'm really into documenting right now, so this was perfect! Plus, Carrie and myself decided to make a really simple mini with this challenge when we are done! Can't wait to show you that!

blog redesign, classes, getting inspiration,,,

In the time I have been out of the loop, I've had my blog redesigned by my very talented friend Carrie. Truth is, I love it. It's fun and happy and so me.
On another note, I've been trying to dig and search really deep for some inspiration and motivation. To be honest, I was getting really tired and bored of the same layouts I was creating. I noticed that my layouts weren't really telling a story or how i felt during the time the picture was taken. A few weeks ago I received an email from the Paper Tales telling me that Amy Tangerine was teaching a class. Lightbulb!
I said to myself, "this is just what i need!"
So I took it! Got lots of inspiration and motivation! I have to say, that her product line is super cute and totally my style! It feels young and fresh.
At this moment in time I have the urge to really document things. During the class, as I made each page, it felt really good to jot down what the picture meant to me.
I was like, "Oh my gosh, journaling isn't so bad. I think I really like this!"
I got home and finished my mini that same day!! It felt really, really good. It feels really good to look and feel something tangible that brings back an awesome memory of a fun vacation we had. Nowadays, most of our or my pictures are stored in our laptops. Remember as kids when our parents had all of our photos in albums! I really want to go back to that. So that when Im 50, I can go to my bookshelf and spark up awesome memories and have laughter fits!

Today, I'm really excited to share with you something I sewed last night!! My husband has been bugging me to make him a wallet forever! Yes, I know he could have easily purchased one, but you see, my husband is a very particular person. It couldn't have velcro, it had to have this many pockets, etc., etc.,. Soooo, he asked me if I could custom make him one! For now, we will have to call this wallet I made a prototype. hehehe! You see, my sewing machine is old and wasn't cooperating. There was frayed edges, lose strings, bunch up thread,, you name it. But he loved it!! Isn't that sweet? He's pretty much perfect! I told him as soon as my sewing machine was back from the shop, I would make him a more proper one. He said he was amazed at how quickly I made it. He thinks I'm super crafty, and supports everything I do. He tells me that I'm amazing, isn't that just awesome!! I simply adore him!!! Below is a picture of the "prototype".

Next, friends, I am leaving on Friday with my family to our yearly Kern River camping trip!! I'm super excited for this!! So, so excited! It's a trip where we walk away from our daily stresses and worries. We drink beer, go hiking, play games, fish, go in the river, everything really. Another thing, there is no reception there. I know, I know, some of you are probably hyperventilating right now, but honestly I'm okay with it. Im pretty much glued to my phone all the other days of the year, so it kinda feels nice to just hit the off button. Gives me the opportotunity to focus on spending real time with my family. Plus, I love them, and they deserve my full attention! Below are pictures from our trip last year!!

It's Friday, Friday. Is it just me, but everytime I hear the word Friday, I immediately think of the Rebecca Black song! It's driving me crazy!! But I am excited that the weekend is here!!! I'm looking forward to Saturday! My precious momma is coming over to help me plant rose bushes. You see, my mom has an insane green thumb, like crazy!! Her backyard looks like a jungle with all the different species of plants she has!! Then theres me, absolutely no green thumb! Like zero, zilch nada. That's why shes coming over to help me. I love, love, love, plants and flowers but I can never keep them alive for more than a day. So, I'm glad she's coming over! I love her so much!

I also wanted to share with you a layout I created using the *scarlet begonias* kit from the Pink Ninjas!! Have I ever told you how awesome it is being a Pink Ninja?? Well, it is. Like amazing! And I completely love all of you fellow Pink Ninjas! This world is amazing, fun, be yourself, caring, crazy, and just simply rad!!

this week has gone entirely super fast for me!! This is a good thing! Usually they are long and drag out forever! Today, I wanted to share with you a ring I created using the *scarlet begonias* kit from The Pink Ninjas! In the kit, comes three different colored rose cabochons!! They are sooooo pretty. I really love them. This coming from a cabochon loving person. ;-) I used the pink one, glued it onto a flat backed ring that I had and voila!! Super simple but super fun!!

Okay, so I am beyond excited to share with you our next Pink Ninja crop! I am super pumped up! Our last one was a success and SO much fun! { See pics below on previous post}

Our next crop will be August 6th. 11-8pm. Vista, CA. Cost: $25. We will be providing lunch and dinner. Wine, bottled water and an assortment of teas and lemonade! We will be having finger foods! A true garden party, held outside in beautiful Cali weather! p.s. there will be shade, i know it can get warm in the summer. We will have kits for sale, candles, nerd glasses and other fun goodies!! Monday~the beginning of the week is here. I just want to say, I had the most incredible weekend! I had the most productive day with my bestie. We shopped till we dropped! For our cute shop that is!! I cannot wait to show you all the goodies! Speaking of besties, I want to share with you a layout I created a bit ago. We were having a business meeting talking about ideas to make layouts. I seriously cannot believe I have not blog in like a month!! Wow!! To be perfectly honest, I have had a lot going on! I completely and totally miss my blog and I especially miss all of my blog friends {if i still have any} I must say that it feels really good to hit the keyboard keys while I'm writing this. Today, I want to tell you about something fun that just happened last week!! We, the pink ninjas had a CROP!! Yes!, a crop! Seriously, it was so much FUN!!

We were so excited on how wonderful it turned out! Some croppers sat and chit chatted while others cranked out some major layouts! It was perfect. The food and snacks were yummy. I seriously cannot gush enough about this. It means so much and is very humbling to have accomplished something we've worked so hard for! Thank You to all of you that made this crop a success! Now, for everyone that wasn't able to make it, we will be hosting one August 6th!! It will be a Garden Tea Party Crop. Cost is $25. It's FRIDAY!!!,,, can I say party time!!!! You all have no idea what a difficult week this was for me!! It was all work. I'm frustrated and want out of the 9 to 5!!!

I'm excited though!! This weekend I have nothing but fun plans!! My most favorite plan being that I get to hang out with the most awesome girl ever!!! As you all know by now, she is my favorite, my bestie, my partner in crime, everything!! love her!!

man, oh man, where has the time gone?!? My last post was two weeks ago!! I could have sworn it was just last week!! I'm getting really excited because I'm gonna head out on camping trip!! We are headed to the narrows in Utah!! We love to camp, and this park has been on our list for a while.

and here is a layout I created using the *redemption song* kit from Pink Ninja Addicts!! I loved how Ally, my bestie is creating 6x12 layouts with her instax pics!! So, I thought it would be fun to make some!! It felt really good to get my paper out and create something. I have been so busy with life, that I haven't had much time. Not to sound cheesy, but it's pretty therapeutic!! That little squishable, chubby cheek baby is the newest addition to our family!! It's insane how much you can love a child!! I love her to pieces!!

It's Friday!!,, are you excited?! Because I am!!! I have a super busy, busy fun weekend planned ahead!!! This past Sunday, I went on a photo shoot adventure with miss Carrie!! I got all dressed up and she shot pictures of me! I haven't fully seen them so I'm excited! While we were down in San Diego we decided to capture our silhouette pics! Silhouette is the newest photo inspiration over at bubblegum life! I had been wanting to do a silhouette pic forever!! I was happy I was able to catch carrie in movement. I was so happy with the outcome!!

first thing is first,, I am sooooo EXCITED for this!!! We the Pink Ninjas, are having a crop!! that's right, a pink ninja crop!! How fun,, right?!?!! Im in LOVE!!! I'm in love with lots of things/people actually, but today this post is for my love of my iphone!! The instagram app that is!! I never really understood what all the fuss was about with the iphone, but once I got one into my hands, it was love at first sight!! It had me at hello!!

While looking for photo apps, I came across instagram! I immediately fell in love! I love how you can give each photo a certain feel!! So I've been going crazy taking photos of everything/everyone!!

Also, I just found out that there is an instagram 365 project!! So I immediately raised my hand and said, "ooh, ooh, me, me, pick me!!"

now, I wanna share with you a tiny piece of my life. You see, I'm 31.,,but somewhere along the line I stayed 9 years old. I truly live by the quote "I might be an adult, but I'm a minor at heart". This past weekend my friend had her sons 1st birthday party. And if there is one thing you should know about me, is that I LOVE to break pinatas,,,but most of all, I LOVE the candy inside of it!!! I am totally that girl that runs in and scoops up the candy!! So, I was the first person in line to break the pinata and let's just say I was the last!! I broke that sucker!!! And don't worry, the kids had their own Woody pinata,,, we adults got buzz lightyear!!

Hi friends!!! How I've missed you all. I've been very neglectful of my blog,,,sorry. I hope you are all doing well and are having fun!! I am having the most insane year, but it's a good insane! I wake up, go to work for eight hours come home, talk to my husband, make dinner,{well, I don't make dinner every night,,maybe once a week} I usually have an array of nightly events like, meeting up with my bestie, playing soccer, dinner at my moms, and so on. I have trouble saying "no",,,I am definitely a "YES" person!! It's more fun that way. Anyhoot, just wanted to share with you one of my newest hobbies, photography. I recently started dabling in this and I can say that I am having tons of fun!!! My brother and his wife have been the best for letting me take photos of them! I think I've already shared some of these with you, but I haven't shared their cute little bundle of joy!! Oh, how I love her so much!! there is nothing better than a brand new baby!! They are so cute!! And she is so precious!!!

Happy Monday! Wanted to share with you the project I created for one of the photos I took for my Appointment with Friday! I decided to use my palm tree background. I printed the image on 81/2 x 11 paper. I then created a layout on top of it. Used some green patterned paper, some fab rips from studio calico and red prima flowers. The little tot is my niece. I took this picture last year during a trip to the local pumpkin patch. I felt this picture went well with the palm tree background. It was pretty fun using a picture as background! Hello Everyone!! This past Friday I had an appointment with bubblegum life. The appointment this week was The backdrop of your life. For this appointment, i took to my backyard and starting exploring. I had a blast!! In my collage below i took pictures of the grass, a flower, the roof, and a palm tree trunk. It was was really neat for me to do this. I was able to see things in a different light, and just appreciate the little things. I know corny, but it made me realize how much I don't stop to smell the flowers. Make sure you stop over at bubblegum life and check out what Carrie did!! She has some amazing backdrops!!

and here are some photos I took of my brother and his wife. They are expecting their first little one. It's a girl. I'm very excited, they are very excited too!! she's due this month!! I love babies, they are so cute and smell delicious!!

I love a new year! It's like a reset button. A fresh start. In this new year I wanted to first, share with you the latest pink ninja addicts kit!! It's perfectly titled *glitter in the air*. I love it! The colors are perfect, the trims are divine and the embellishments are perfection!! We have the most awesome guest designers this month as well, so stop by and check it out!!

Second, me, oh me. 2010 was insane! I had a lot of fun!! Had some major changes and turned 31!! I'm definitely excited for 2011! I'll be sharing a list I compiled pretty soon! I was inspired by Elsie's birthday list! I made one as well, titled 31 things to do before turning 32!! I'm excited! Hi Friends!!,, how are you??,,me, as you know, I have been moving, and moving, and moving!!! So I moved, now there are all theses boxes in my new house!! Now, to unpack. Im excited right now, because I got to hang out with two favorite friends!! We went to watch Burlesque, and let me tell you, It was awesome!! I was shocked! So not my type of movie, but I loved it!! It was a perfect night!! So, I got to open my Christmas presents early!! My husband got me a Fuji Instax mini!!! eeeek!! I was so excited!!! I've been taking pics like crazy!! I love it!!! my, oh my, where has the time really gone?? Right now it's Sunday in my home. It was the first official day I got to relax! I had a five day weekend due to Thanksgiving and spent three of those days eating turkey!! Wednesday, dinner at a friends house. Thursday, dinner with my husbands family. Friday, dinner with my family. Let me tell you, it was exhausting! Saturday, it was my mom's birthday so we celebrated with dinner and chuck e. cheese! we had fun, and she had a blast!! So today, Sunday I got to relax!! (by the time you read this, it will be Monday) Actually,, I didn't really relax much :-(,, I had to clean house,,grr,, I scrubbed and scrubbed all day long!!! I really, really, really, dislike having to keep my condo clean everyday to show it! But, we are finally moving this weekend!!! I feel like I've been saying I'm moving for like a year now, but that day is finally here!! I'm so happy to get it done and over with. Im ready to close this chapter in my life and open a new one!

That being said, Im excited because I have so many ideas churning in my brain right now, of things I want to accomplish in 2011!! Im excited!! Are you excited for 2011??

today is Monday, this day is not my most favorite day of the week. Mostly because I know that it means that I have to go back to work. I've been dreaming of making a teepee ever since I saw rachel make one for elsie!,, It just looks like such a dreamy spot to relax and read a book!,, even play with my nieces and nephews!,,im sure they would love it! i promised my husband I wouldn't build one until we moved,,he didn't want to lug more stuff around. But now that the move is getting closer and closer, I'm dreaming of making my very own!!,, speaking of, today they came and picked up my dining room table and coffee table :-( we sold them, since we wont be needing them anymore. It made me really, really sad. So I'm sitting here on the floor where my dining table once stood making this post. But I have to look at the bright side,,I will be moving into a bigger home and it's just a new spot to decorate!!,, I just hate moving,,i'm not looking forward to it at all!!,,but what are you gonna do,,life goes on!!,,,for now, I'll keep dreaming about making my very own teepee!!

Christmas!!,,I have to say, next to Halloween, this is my absolute favorite holiday! And I know we haven't even gotten thru Thanksgiving yet, but all the stores seem to be filled with holiday stuff already!! It looks like this year though we aren't gonna have a christmas tree :-( Because of the move and all. It just won't make any sense. But it doesn't mean I can ooh and ahh at everyone elses decorations!! I think my favorite part is driving around at night and just seeing all the homes lit up with Christmas lights!!,,I love it!!,, love this season!!

the beginning of a new week,, we have entered the second week of october,,man, how time flies! Before you know it we'll be stressed out trying to purchase those last minute christmas gifts!!! alright, alright,,let's not stress out yet!! How was your weekend?? what fun adventures did you go on?? I had a super chill weekend. Saturday, was by far my favorite!! I spent the day with my bestie, riding our bikes all day long!! I can't even begin to tell you how lucky I am to have a friend like her,,we are seriously two peas in a pod!!,, so last week i made these 4x6 mini layouts using the *she wolf* kit! I have to say, i'm in love with the 4x6 layout!! It's something different and Im having fun with it!!!,,, here's the first of the three mini's,,,*love*,,,I used the hambly clear overlay as my background and stacked embellishments on top of it!!,, i really like how it turned out!!!

and here is my photo for the latest prompt over at project monday!,,,this weekend it was tradition. my tradition every year is getting pumpkin with these kiddos! I grabbed their pumpkins yesterday and we went in my moms back yard and took some pics,,let's just say this is the best one i could get!!!,,so what's your tradition??

ahhhh,,it's thursday!,,that means I'm only one day away from Friday and the weekend is near!!! I love the weekends! I wanted to share a layout I recently made. I made it for the pink ninja addicts using the latest kits! I love that it's titled *she wolf*!!,,it's only my all time favorite video and song from shakira!!,, I wish I could master some of those moves in the video!! *secret*,,me and my bestie use to practice the moves when the video first came out!!..let me just say our husbands said we needed a lot more practice!!,,pfft,,what do they know!!,,it was definitely fun!!,,okay back to my layout!! I started off by using the white glitz paper as my background,,you can't see it in the pick but it has a design on it. I glimmer misted in black and red. i then took the envelope, paper and teresa collins chipboard pieces and started layering!! using the envelopes was my favorite part!!,,and I super love, love, love that plaid paper!!,,and I die for those prima sparkle centers!!,,and the cute star cabochon...love it!!,,my bestie went on a treasure hunt and found them!!,,i love them!!,,there's also a hot pink/black one in the kit!! At first, I have to admit I was a little intimidated by the red and black,,but after altering the paper and elements around,,i just made it my own,,,and i love that!!,, all we need is some creativity juice flowing!!,,,the pic in this layout is a polaroid taken on my second birthday!!,,,here's *2*,,,

fall is here, and for me that means a visit to the pumpkin patch! Every year we visit Bates Nut Farm. We buy some corn kernels, feed the animals, eat some yummy, bad for you, but tastes so good food and pick out some pumpkins!! It was a fun adventure running through the patch trying to find the perfect pumpkin. It was a fun relaxing day,,,i loved it!

why the picture of the sandals you ask??,,, well some sweet friends have come up with these picture prompts to get your imagination rolling. I thought it was a super cute idea, and found myself thinking all weekend about what prompt. So, i don't really have some legit fall shoes,,I live in my sandals all year round,,plus it was hot today,,,so this is what i came up with!!,, thanks carrie & gloria!,,love this idea,,can't wait till next Friday!!!

so a lot has gone on in my life,,,september came and went with a blink of an eye,,, we put our condo up for sale,, and a very nice lady bought it!! {well, technically it's not hers yet cuz we still have to go thru the whole process of appraisal, inspection,,etc.,,etc.,,}, so hopefully, fingers crossed, everything goes smoothly!!,, September was my husbands 30th birthday!,,he is sooo, so, so calm. I wanted to do some crazy thing and go on some crazy thing and all he wanted was to swim with whale sharks and vacation in palm springs. So off we went, caught a plane to Atlanta, spent 4 days there, came back drove to Palm Springs where we rented a house,, baked and swam in the pool for 4 days!!,,let me tell you, for me, this was very, very hard!!! Anyone that knows me, knows how restless and full of energy I am! to sit by the pool 24 hours a day and do nothing was extremely hard for me! I got cranky from it and my husband couldn't understand why i couldn't just relax,,but it's just not my nature. All in all, it was a great vacation, and Im super happy my husband had a wonderful time!,,

here he is backstage, ready to go into the tank!!,, it's cool, you can see the whale sharks swimming up top,, they are so friendly,,,

and i really want one of these as a pet,,,
one of the many sharks in the tank,,,a hammerhead shark came underneath my husband!!,,it was cool,,my husband got scared and jerked, so the shark got scared and swam away,,
and here are the whale sharks!!,,they are awesome!!,,this one was 24 feet long!!!,,in the ocean they grow anywhere from 30 to 35 feet!,,can you imagine swimming in the water and this guy swimming up to you???,,

oh how i miss you blog,, i have been away for a while. Truth is, this summer has been incredibly busy for me!! In the midst of it all, we decided to sell our condo!!,,let me tell you how stressful and a lot of hard work this is!! Everyday your house has to look immaculate!! And just the thought of someone walking around in you private space is kinda weird for me. oh well, it needs to be done!! But!!,,we got an offer and the purchase is under way!!,,what a relief!! With all my busyness i have somehow managed to not take one single picture!! Isn't that sad?? My awesome husband purchased a dSLR camera for me!!,,,i've started to learn a bit more about it and am starting to use it a bit more!! In a couple of days we will be taking a short trip to Atlanta, GA!!,,for my husbands birthday he decided he wanted to scuba dive with whale sharks, so that's what we'll be doing!!,, Im super excited for him!!,,so he wants me to put my new camera to use!!!

as you all may know, my sweet bestest friend turned *30*!!! we have been celebrating all weekend!! yesterday, sunday, we had a relaxed scrapbooking birthday get together. It turned out perfect!!,,the sun was out, there was a cool breeze and we were in great company!! hi everyone!!!,,i miss you all and i miss my beloved blog!!,,geez, what a slacker i've been!!!,,today, i wanted to share my crazy, dirty, cluttered scrap room!! a while back, miss heidi shared on her blog the before/after shots of her scrap room. so she inspired me to do the same!,,,i figure, if i put it out there for the world to see, maybe i'll be a bit embarrased and want to clean it up and organize it a bit!!,,,truth is, im not ashamed. the problem i'm having right now is that i have no where to scrap or make projects! why?, because i have clutter everywhere!!! so sometime this coming week, i'm gonna find the time to start organizing stuff and putting things away!!,,I want my room to look cute and well right now, it doesn't!!,,,so i hope you all have a rad 4th of july!!!,,ill be bbq'ing with my family so im excited!!!!

just wanted to share with everyone some sweet embroidery pieces I made while on my camping trip!,,,,the idea behind this was that it was gonna take me at least the whole 5 hour drive to make these,,,you since i've never embroidered before,,,i started them when i got on the freeway and finished both pieces when i got to temecula!!,,which is only 20 minutes away from my house!!,,my husband was laughing so hard,,,he said, "what are you gonna do now for the rest of the 4 and a half hours!",,,,needless to say, the rest of the drive was boring,,,but i found that embroidery is fun,,,and i'm really liking it right now!!!,,,so I just wanna say thanks to my sweet friend Gloria for sharing this with me!!!,,here are my pieces,,,im in love with them!!!

have you ever been driving and have reached your destination point, only to wonder how you got there???,,,ummmm,,,yeah,,,that's how my life feels as of lately!,,,i wish i could have some rad inspirational projects for you, but ummmm, i don't!!,,sorry. It's just that I have been sooooo super busy!,,,i have not even had the ounce of mojo to get some scrapbooking done,,,nothing,,zippo, nada!!!!,,,,i haven't even taken pictures,,,now that's sad:-(,,,,my job has been more insane than ever,,,i have been getting out late every single day,,,and by the time i get home,,,im exhausted and just wanna sit on the couch and do nothing,,,,and believe you me, i have a million plus one things to do,,,and do i do them,,ummm,,,nope!!!,,,i need energy, i need a shot of something!!!!,,,,okay, so i'm gonna share something super personal for me right now, and please be nice,,because i'm having a really hard time with this,,,,,my entire life I have been this super skinny, skinny girl,,,growing up I got teased a lot for being skinny,,,,called names, the whole nine yards,,,,so growing up i would eat a lot, alot so i could gain weight,,,and nothing!!!,,,i would still be skinny,,,,it wasn't until i got married three years ago that i gained some weight and i felt good,,,(just to give you an idea, at 18 i weighed 103, at 26 when i got married i weighed 120, a year ago i weighed 135),,,,okay, so about a month ago, i went to the doctor and got weighed,,you know usual routine,,,and i weighed 152!!!!,,,and when i saw my doctor she told me i was overweight!!!!!:-(,,,im 5'7"),,,this totally and completely deppressed me,,,,i was totally self conscious and not happy with myself,,,i went home and cried to my husband and was on a bad one for a week,,,I swear, I feel like i can never win this weight battle,,i'm either too skinny or to big!!!,,,so, i decided to do something about it, and as of three weeks now, i've been on this super intense diet that has been helping me out a lot,,,i can see a difference and am starting to feel better about myself,,,i refuse to get on a scale yet,,,not until i feel it's right,,,but when i do, i will share with you my friends.,,,i'm not much of an exercise person so i will slowly build up to that,,,for now, i'm just eating suppppper healthy and riding my new bike!!!!,,,sorry to post this long post about my life, but i just want everyone to know, that this is where my life has been and why i haven't been inspired,,,but i feel that i'm coming back and i think i'm gonna come back for a full vengeance!!!!

for right now, i just wanna show you a cute pic me and my bestie took at Petco Park at the Padres game!!,,,i cannot begin to tell you how much i love this girl, and am soooo glad she is in my life and is my friend,,,we had the most amazing day/night!!!,,,it was sooo much fun!!!

and here is my brand spanking new bike!!!!,,eeeekk!!,,i cannot tell you how excited I am about this!!!,,,it took a lot of begging to my husband for me to get it,,,but he caved in and now it sits in my car daily, in case i want to take a spur of the moment ride. This past Sunday, me and my nephew went on a 10 mile bike ride,,,it was beautiful and awesome...i love that little dude!!!,,,he's six,,and didn't complain once about the long ride,,,he loved it!!!
I hope you all have a rad weekend!!!,,,tommorow I am off to VEGASSS baby!!!!,,,I am so super excited!!,,i freaking love Vegasss so much!!! Oh!,,and i joined a co-ed softball league and my first game is Sunday,,,when i get back from Vegass,,,wish me luck...i'm gonna be so tired!!

*Whats your favorite word? O-M-G!!!,,,i use it all the time

*If they were to make a movie about you, who would play you? hmmm,,,this is a toughie, i really like zoey deschanel or i like kristen ritter, they are both quirky actresses and i love their style, not that they are anything like me, but i love them

*britney spears or gwen stefani? gwen stefani, i think everyone that knows me, knows im obsessed with her, the girl is beautiful, nice and super smart!!,,she's so feminine and classy! and i love all of her music!!

*favorite drink? jack & diet dr.pepper (my bestie turned me on to this)

*have you ever shoplifted? once, i had gone to the convenience store with my mom, i saw some stamps i wanted and asked her to buy them for me, she didn't, and i apparently had to have them because i stuck them under my sweatshirt and walked out with them. I was 9 years old.

*what's your sign? sagittarius

*have any cool scars? oh boy, i have a lot of scars, i rode dirt bikes for many years. I would have to say my most gnarly one was when i was taking my bike for a warm up run. I was coming back and i hit something hard, stopped my bike and sent me flying over it, hit my head, and my body skidded a good amount of feet forward. i was wearing no protective gear..a big no,no. I suffered a concusion and i now have a cool circle scar on my shoulder!!

*when you were a child, what did you wanna be when you grew up? I wanted to be the first female president since i was in 2nd grade. I would write this in every single one of my papers. I am now a dental assistant,,go figure,,

*what's your fashion style? this is a toughie for me, i don't know that i really have a style, i guess it's what my mood is. I mostly wear jeans, t-shirts and sandals or vans. but sometimes i like to dress up and wear heels,,,just depends

*who inspires you? i don't have a specific person that inspires me, i think people in general inspire me, everyone is so different and i admire certain qualities of each person. they allow me to see things that maybe i never took notice of, or never appreciated. I think we are all inspiring people in our own way.

*whats your favorite type of music? my all time favorite is punk, but as i've grown i also enjoy indie musice and pop music,,,and maybe even a tiny,tiny,tiny bit a hip hop,,this is cuz my husband is a hip hop dj,,,but my heart always belongs to punk,,,its my feel good music!!

*were you a trouble maker as a youngster? this would be a negative, i was a super goody, goody. perfect child, perfect student always followed the rules (except for the time i stole something,,,which i still feel guilty about) ,,,

*tell me something random about yourself? I hate, and when i mean hate, i mean, I hate to do the dishes!!!,,i don't know what it is, but i just can't stand it!!!,,,i seriously cannot tell you when was the last time i washed a dish,,,i don't even think i did it as a kid, my husband does the dishes in our home and i am soooo thankful for that!!

just wanted to share some things that i have been obsessed with and some that are more of a recent obsession,,,and a little tidbit about me,,,aqua, is my favorite color, pink is my second favorite,,

ever since i was a kid, i dreamed about owning one of these!!..i would say that when i grew up that this was the car i would get, and um yeah, not in my possesion yet. it's still on my list, but it has to be the old one, not one of the newer ones!!
the ford falcon, ahhhh, how i imagine driving down to the beach on a sunny day with some friends,,,
and this is a dreamy site,,,i have been wanting one of these babies for a while now,,,with a basket at the handle bars,,, i keep hinting at the husband, so maybe one of these days it'll show up at my doorstep ;-)

just wanna share some things i really, really want, or want to get into right now!!!

rock climbing: i have been wanting to try this for a really, really long time, but as of recent i have a total itch for it. It would take so much training on my part, but i think it would be fun to do once in my life!!
clay pigeon shooting: When I was young, I went to a western carnival in san bernardino and they were having a clay pigeon shooting contest,,from that moment, i was intrigued and have always wanted to give it a try! it just seems like such a stress reliever. my younger brother often does this out in the desert and i am still waiting for my invite..hint, hint bro ;-)
and lastly, i was at starbucks, and a girl in line was wearing these!!...as soon as i saw them, i told myself i had to have them...so as of now, i am on the hunt!!..so rad!!

Happy Pink Ninja Monday!!..well, it's official, i need an assistant!!..lol...don't i wish!! i have been so super busy, i feel like i haven't done much posting on my beloved blog!! It's here!!!...our newest baby is here!! *accidentally kelly street* ,,, and Oh my gosh, i love all of our kits, but this one by far, has have to be my most favoritest one yet!!!..There is bright pops of pink and cool navy tones, and yummy bursts of green!! You'll also find the most amazing embellishments!!..miss ally made those rad circle flowers that you see...delicious, right?!? and my sweet mom crocheted some flowers...thanks mom!!! then, there's the trims..ooooh the trims!!..these colors just call to me!! monday, monday...use to be that i didn't look forward to monday because it meant the weekend was over...but now it's a happy day because it's Pink day!!! Camping Trip

today i embark on a 4 day camping trip. my family and myself will be heading to Yosemite National Park!!! I have always, always wanted to camp here!! I am beyond excited!! It is suppose to be a super awesome beautiful place. It will be just us and nature. no laptops or cell phones (this one is a tough one for me, but i promised my husband) It will be a refreshing change. I will see you all in 4 days!!!

Saturday was such a beautiful day!!..perfect weather, awesome clouds, cool breeze..it was magical!!...so I decided to take my little friends out for a stroll. P.S. this post is picture heavy,,i had fun so i went crazy!!

Olive enjoyed the stroll by the park and creek.....

my beautiful unicorn had a long walk, so she had to rest on this stump...she's perfect!..i love her!!

and nels took a dip in the sea...she also took a rest on this washed up seaweed...she loves taking pics!

then there's Ophelia, she's so sweet and calm...she quickly took shelter underneath a rock!...she's a littly shy...she's so cute,,love her!!

Hello beautiful blog world!!!...so I have fallen behind on my blogging!!..So busy over here, trying to catch my breath!!! phew. First, I just wanna congratulate my brother on graduating from college today!!..I'm so proud of him. He was so shy and intimidated to start all over, but he did it, pushed through and today is the first day of new beginnings for him!! I'm so, so, so proud of him!!

Just sharing a layout I made using the *carousel* kit. I decided to not place a title on my layout this time around because honestly, I didn't know where to put it. This picture was given to me by my cutie pie friend miss ally. When I saw it, it brought back such an awesome, funny, good feeling memory. It's really is the best when you can look at a picture and crack yourself up, because you are remembering exactly what happened that day! It's amazing to me how through scrapbooking, I have met the most amazing people and have made the bestest of friends. real girls with real feelings and real dreams. girls that aren't afraid of showing who they are and girls that accept and love you for *you* it's so amazing. in my younger life i didn't really have this, to have this now, is amazing and beautiful.
